Three Counties put the COLOUR into RUN
Sunday was not only a lovely day for a walk in the park but also to be showered in beautiful colours whilst you ran, walked or was pushed around the 5k course at The Brinks Colour Run. TCRC was proud to be asked by Tin fish Creative Communications to help support this event by supplying the paint splashers, Marshall’s and course set up. The event was to raise money for Octavia Hill Birthplace House Museum. Octavia Hill was born in Wisbech and was the co-founder of the National Trust. Putting on this event was to encourage fun, togetherness and putting something back into the local community. There was 200 participants this year enjoying the sun, run and getting doused in paint powder by the smiling TCRC team of splashers situated around the course making sure everyone looked like they had run through a rainbow by the time they had crossed the finish line. From babies in pushchairs, toddlers and the more mature folk, fun was had by all. Elsewhere 2 Female TCRC members were smashing PB’s in Swaffham at the first event of the Sublime 10k. On a warm day with an undulating out and back course first Home was Tracey Else in a fantastic time of 51:26PB and also securing 2nd in age. Emma Sage was next to finish in a great time of 1:17:34 gaining a great PB knocking minutes off her previous 10krace time. Deeping 10k saw a great result for Female TCRC member Elisabeth Sennitt-Clough finishing with a fantastic PB of 45:38 and also finishing 3rd Female overall.
