TCRC in Parkrun PB sweep

Twenty four Three Counties Running Club Members went on mass to Kingslynn Parkrun to put their PB Training into practice.

Eleven members went away with PB’s on a very productive and team building morning. First runner home for the club was Lee Johnson with a fantastic PB of 19:04 getting ever nearer to that sub 19. There was a strong but steady flow of club finishers with Timothy Clough next home for the club in 20:34, Graham Rushmer 20:54, Matthew Knott 21:43PB, Mark Mattless 22:31, Gary Ingrey 23:05PB, Matt Hunter 23:19, Vicki Drake 23:57 PB (1st in age), Teresa Rodrigues 24:28, Sarah Johnson 24:58 PB, William Durkin 25:23PB, Stephen Rhodes 25:23, Louise Drew 26:24, Jayne Spurrier 27:19PB, Keith White 27:25, Tracey Else 27:26, Colin Apps 27:27, Fay Gratton 28:03PB, Reece Harrison 28:04PB, Alice Ingman 28:25, Sandra Rhodes 28:26PB(3rd in age), Victoria May 28:47, Melvin Green 31:03 and Tina Rust 32:39 PB.

Junior Parkrun saw 26 runners with 5 junior TCRC runners taking part. Maisie Macdonald was first Home for the club in 9:27, Stephanie Harbord 11:31, Issac Western 11:38, Imogen Agger 13:20 and Molli Western 21:02.

Dawn Ball took part in the Thetford Winter wonderland 5k race finishing in 25th place in a time of 28:28.

Bedford Harriers half marathon saw solo TCRC Member Claire Louise Apted take part finishing in a PB time of 1:46:06, fantastic time on a hilly mixed terrain course.

Three Counties Running Clubs next main event is the family friendly Santa Fun Run which takes place at Wisbech Park on 22nd December. Fun for all the family and a medal for all finishers with a 1k race for £1 (enter on the day) and a timed 5k race for £5. You can enter on the day but entry online for the 5k race guarantees a finishers medal. Registration starts at 10am, warmup 10:45, 1k race starts at 11am and the 5k kicks off at 11:30am. There will be stalls, food stalls, bouncy castle and games to have a go at or just get into the Christmas spirit and cheer on the runners.
